JD Specialized Recruitment is currently assisting an ultra-luxury 5* Lodge in the Northern Cape, who are currently looking for a highly experienced and guest centric ASSISTANT CAMP MANAGER/TRAILS GUIDE COUPLE to join their team. Assistant Camp Manager Requirements and Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality or equivalent beneficial.
- It is imperative to have at least 3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a similar guest relations role in a high-end bush lodge environment.
- Sound knowledge of camp operations both BOH and FOH.
- Highly presentable with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Passionate in creating a memorable experience for individual guests and exceeding service delivery standards.
- Highly motivated with the ability to inspire and mentor team members.
- Financial acumen and experience in managing stock and budgets.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Valid driverxe2x80x99s license is essential.
- Sound employment history with contactable references.
- 5 years plus experience at a 5* luxury property
- Lead Trails preferred but candidates close to completing this qualification will be considered.
- FGASA Level 3 preferred but no less than Level 2 (Non-negotiable)
- ARH & Rifle proficiency / SAPS Competency Certificate
- Valid Driverxe2x80x99s license, PrDP and First Aid Level 2 essential
- CATHSSETA /DEAT Registered
- Photography skills would be beneficial.
- Physically fit, charismatic, and confident
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Stable employment history and contactable reference
