Job Description
Qualifying Criteria:
Grade10, 11, 12 or equivalent qualification
Proficient in English and any other of the 11 official languages
Knowledge in Boilermaking will be advantageous
1-2 years' experience in Boilermaking in a mining or industrialized environment is essential and required
Must be able to work at heights and confined spaces Applicant must possess good verbal communication skills. South African Citizenship Clear Criminal RecordResponsibilities:
Work a cycle or rotation of shifts Assist Artisan(s) in carrying out their duties efficiently by providing support and carrying tool box, hand tools and other equipment Maintain tools, equipment and safely keep hand tools Perform duties tasked to them and any other related duties within the Boilermaker Shop Responsible for good housekeeping in and around the working place Manage and maintain in area of responsibility in accordance with mine standards, procedures and practices * Adhere to MHSA standards & Gold1's safety motto :
"Nothing is so important that it cannot be done safely"
