Job Summary ?? Assistant Accountant Wanted - Luxury Wine Estate in Stellenbosch! ?? Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a detail-driven Assistant Accountant to join the finance team at a luxury wine estate in Stellenbosch. Capturing cash book entries and handling daily cash-up reconciliations ? Managing general ledger functions and journal entries ? Handling debtors - invoices, account reconciliations, and collections ? Overseeing creditors - invoices, reconciliations, and payments ? Stock administration, including invoice capturing and monthly stocktakes ? Petty cash management ? Ordering of centralised goods ? General office duties to support smooth operations What we're looking for: ? Grade 12 + Qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Bookkeeping ? 3+ years' experience in a similar role (hospitality industry experience a plus!) ? Excellent Microsoft Office skills ? Experience with Pastel (Sage) Evolution or similar accounting software ?? Previous exposure to Easipos (advantageous) ?? Strong organisational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail ? Analytical, problem-solving, and ownership-driven mindset ? Professional, flexible, and able to collaborate across departments ?
