Our client, a heavyweight in the mining and metals industry based in Johannesburg North, is on the hunt for a detail-digger of note, an Assistant Accountant who's ready to crush accounts payable and assist their finance team like a pro.
What you'll be digging into:
- Full Accounts Payable / Creditors function (you're the boss of the buys!)
- Cashflow, banking & payments - local and international
- Daily and monthly recons
- Assist with bookkeeping to balance sheet - you'll be the right-hand rockstar
- Financial admin tasks & being able to hold the fort when the Bookkeeper or Accountant takes a breather
- A completed BCom degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years' experience in financial admin & accounts payable
- Strong marks in Mathematics & Accounting - numbers don't scare you, they excite you
