Job Description
Our client a manufacturing company based in Jhb East (Benoni) has an opportunity available for an Assistant Accountant to join their team, we are looking for a candidate who is very confident and who will work well in a team of strong personalities. Syspro experience would be advantageous.
Skills and experience required:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role is required
- Applicants must have experience in the manufacturing industry or have experience on Syspro accounting software
- We are looking for a strong team player
- Working Hours 7am: Monday xe2x80x93 Thursday: 07h00 to 16h00 and Fridays 07h00 to 13h00.
- Report to the Head of Finance
- Debtors & creditors
- Cashbook
- Trial balance
- General Ledger
- Journals
- Fixed Assets
- Process improvement
- Recons, filing and processing some VAT and Tax,
- Assist in preparing annual financial statements, report on budgets variances, intercompany loan accounts.
