My client is an expanding enterprise boasting three subsidiaries and an annual turnover of approximately 100 million. Specializing primarily in Agriculture, with a focus on crop and poultry, they also have ventures in property and operate a non-profit mining trust. They are currently in search of a Group Accountant with exceptional consolidation abilities. Additionally, the chosen candidate will enjoy comprehensive benefits, including 100% medical aid and provident fund coverage.

The incumbent will be responsible for the preparation of current financial reports: management accounts prepare up to trial balance, compile budgets; budgets income statements to balance sheets, submit SARS submissions, submit intercompany loans, audit preparations, set an example for team members of commitment, financial activities, work ethics and habits and personal character, maintain accurate financial and other records, control expenses to meet agreed budgetary controls, adhere to all organisation policies and procedures, interact and co-operate with the all members of the organisation and its suppliers and clients and customers. Responsible for creditors payments of the group and petty cash for all entities administration: ensuring transactions are properly recorded and entered on the computerised accounting system.

Qualification and Skills Required:

• BCom Financial Accounting
• SAIPA or SAICA accreditation.
• 4 years experience.
• Xero and Pastel experience non-negotiable.
