Join a successful client in the construction industry as an Assistant Accountant reporting into the Financial Manager.
Responsibilities:
Bank Statement process - receipts and payments
Cashbook
Manage concur expense claims to ensure this is correct.
Update General ledger expense account Recons
Compile and prepare recons for local creditors Payments
Compile and prepare recons for international payments - intercompany accounts
Load all local AP payments
Clearing Vat Account and preparation of Vat Return payment
Reconciling and posting all corporate cards
Manage and control entire fixed Asset Register
Manage and control short term insurance of all assets
Posting of all Accruals
Posting of all prepayments if any
Send / Receive Intercompany Confirmation
Prepare Balance sheet Recons
Requirements:
Financial Qualification (BCom / BTech)
2 Years experience
Pastel Partner (advantageous)
