Job Description

Position Overview:
We are looking for a general administrator with sound knowledge of Commercial and Personal Lines Insurance.
The suitable candidate should have at least 3 years experience within a similar role and understanding of
urgency, accuracy, and client relations. Must be a strong, confident candidate who can handle pressure. The
candidate must also be organised and self-sufficient without the need to be micromanaged.
Required Skills:

Grade 12
One to three years relevant commercial short-term claims experience (compulsory)
Bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
MS Office literate

Duties:

Receiving all claims notifications from clients
Screening policy cover, wordings and claim documents
Reporting claims
Corresponding with clients, brokers, insurers, assessors
Adherence to SLAs
Record Keeping
Ensuring that all claims are finalised with urgency and accuracy; and
Interpreting claims issues and complex resolutions.
