Job Description
Development and implementation of maintenance strategies and tactics for the
management of assets and equipment whilst optimizing the interface with other
mine systems and equipment aligned with the Assmang Asset Management
policies framework and ISO 55000. Co-ordinate and manage the equipment maintenance programs on the Mine in terms of the relevant legislation such as the MHSA ensuring that assets deliver value, mitigate risk and achieve the organizations objectives, which includes but not limited to:
- Asset integrity and equipment reliability management
- Specialized services and support
- Risk management services
- Design and installation management
- Asset maintenance plan management
- Asset analysis
- Continuous improvement and optimization
- Stakeholder/Relationship management
- SHERQ adherence and compliance
- Work Ethics
(Essential unless otherwise indicated)
- B.Degree / B.Tech Degree (NQF Level 7) in Mechanical Engineering
- GCC Engineering certificate (Mines and Works)
- Asset Management Maintenance Professional certificate or equivalent
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of three (3) years operational Engineering Maintenance
- Minimum of three (3) years operational Asset Management experience
- Minimum of two (2) years operational Management / Managerial experience
- Minimum of two (2) years Team/Project leader/Supervisor experience in a
