You will be embedded on a customer site and contribute in helping the customer reduce the cost of maintenance on site whilst increasing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Rockwell Automation has an excellent reputation for developing a strategic maintenance approach which can also directly the efficiency of the maintenance department.


As a Asset Management Professional you will report to RAAMP Delivery Manager and work on-site in Johannesburg.

Your Responsibilities:

On-site professional management of maintenance and operations (MRO). Work with systems that allow the company to track its repairable inventory and apply associated warranty programs. Develop clear working Standard Operating Procedures detailing process flow and operational requirements for daily activities to support the maintenance operations. Provide a single contact for maintenance repairs and asset tracking. Reduce MRO stock duplication and obsolescence. Storeroom Support managing its reorganization in partnership with the customer. Provide migration, rationalization, and standardization strategies to reduce MRO inventory asset value. Support productivity improvements through delivery of parts to the maintenance teams, whilst providing an overall lower total cost of ownership. Provide monthly financial reports and arrange consignment of new purchases. Work with client departments including plant management, engineering, purchasing and distributors to create efficiency plans for maintenance. Increase "Out of the box" reliability of spare repairable assets, using internal and external repair vendor capability.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

BSc or BEng Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical education with additional qualifications Fluent English/Afrikans language skills (any 3rd language will be welcome)
