Eduvos is looking to employ a Assessment Officer on a permanent basis at any of our National campuses.
Type of role:
Permanent
Purpose of the role:
To administer the governance and compliance processes between various campuses and departments within assessments.
Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least three years' experience in a Higher Education or Assessments and/or Governance and Compliance role where the person had a coordination function, interacting with multipe stakeholders
Duties and Responsibilities
Administer compliance review processes:
  • Communicate compliance evidence requirements to campuses/departments
  • Source access to evidence from various stakeholders
  • Monitor evidence population.
  • Ensure timeous evidence reviews
  • Provide evidence review reports
  • Ensure transparent real-time visualisation of compliance reviews
Assessment Board Secretariate support:
  • Liaise with Chairperson and Secretariat on Committee Terms of Reference and expectations
  • Scheduling of Committee meetings
  • Creating agenda and minutes for all meetings
  • Fulfill all administration requirements for the Committee
  • Ensure implementation of decisions
Coordinate deviation and contingency plans:
  • Create a platform for collaboration and decision making.
  • Source required information from various stakeholders.
  • Track decisions and implementation
  • Compile reports in collaboration with other stakeholders
Recordkeeping:
  • Create and maintain repositories.
  • Source required information from various stakeholders.
  • Provide information upon request
Functional and Behavioural Competencies
Functional Competencies:
  • Computer Literacy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Very detail orientated; an eye for accuracy is a key requirement
