This is a hands-on role ideal for a qualified tradesperson passionate about electrical motor repair and refurbishment, with a focus on LV motors, AC/DC motors, generators, and transformers.
Requirements:
Trade test qualification as Armature Winder (or Electrical / Mechanical Red Seal). Armature winding, including LV motors, AC/DC motors, generators, and transformers. Strong knowledge of electrical principles, motor components, winding techniques, and insulation methods Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, using hand tools, testing equipment, and winding machines. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently or in a team. Physical fitness to handle heavy components and operate machinery safely. * Valid driver's license advantageous.
