Job Description

Our client is recruiting for a Sales Representative. The suitable candidate will be covering the Eastern Cape area (East London). Candidate MUST have a valid drivers license and comfortable with driving.
Minimum requirements:

Relevant tertiary qualification
At least 5 years Solid Sales Experience
FMCG
Valid driver's licence
Sales experience with a proven sales track record is an advantage
Computer Skills in word and Excel

Main duties:

Assisting in the operation of allocated commercial stores.
Evaluate and promote better services to customers where required.
Control and monitoring of Fixtures.
Monitoring of stores monthly sales and growth in accordance with company targets.
Implement strategic initiatives as required by the Line Manager.
Ensure that all listed products are ordered and displayed in applicable stores.
Responsible for ordering and follow-up of all Seasonal and Everyday stock.
Evaluate and analyse allocated stores monthly sales and growth in accordance with monthly targets.
Implement store disciplines as stipulated in Show file.
Adhere to and implement procedures as stipulated in the
Procedure manual.
Managing of Merchandisers
Responsible for coaching merchandisers, planning, assigning, and directing work disciplining merchandisers; addressing complaints and resolving problems - all in conjunction with the Line manager.
Ensure that staff adhere to all procedures and requirements as specified in the Sales procedure manual and Show file.
Incumbent to perform other duties as may be required from time to time
