A well-established hospitality company based in Umhlanga is seeking to appoint an experienced Area Manager to join our team
Key Responsibilities -
Operations Management: Ensure smooth daily operations, consistent service quality, and adherence to company standards across all sites.
Sales & Profitability: Develop and execute sales strategies, set targets, analyze performance, and drive revenue growth.
Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, train, and mentor store managers; provide guidance and support to boost team performance.
Strategic Planning: Implement business plans, analyze market trends, and make data-driven decisions for area improvement.
Performance Monitoring: Regularly visit locations, review sales data, manage inventory, and address operational issues.
Budget & Resource Management: Control costs, manage labor, and optimize resource allocation.
Essential Skills & Qualifications -
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
Proven experience in sales, operations, and multi-site management.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively under pressure.
Example Duties -
Conduct regular store visits to evaluate performance and operations.
Collaborate with other area managers for consistent standards.
Report on area performance to senior management.
Develop local marketing and advertising plans
