Duties & Responsibilities
Direct Wage control (overtime) o Overheads o Contract contribution in line with the budget forecast Effective Organisation o Analyse staff-turnover to ensure proper allocation of employees in line with contract/site requirements o Effective management rosters and shift patterns in accordance with PRP o Management of time & attendance (overtime, annual and sick leave) Supervision o Provide for employee engagement platforms including parades attendance o Conduct regular performance assessments and give corrective feedback on all subordinate employees o Maintain discipline of employees in accordance with code of conduct and related legislation o Deploy PSIRA registered officers at the sites o Ensure that armed response under one's supervision are certified in accordance with Regulation 21 Retain clients by delivering customer service in accordance with SLAs o Conduct regular service audits and implement corrective actions where there are gaps o Resolve customer queries speedily o Maintain an open communication with clients in line with the escalation procedure Manage the Security Operations in accordance with site specification & PSIRA standards o Reduce unplanned absenteeism to ensure maximum site coverage o Control overtime that is caused by unplanned absenteeism o Prevent claims against the Company through regular assessment of customer risks o Ensure that all services provided are invoiced accurately and that paid for on time

o Leading and Managing of subordinates o Dispute Resolution & Managing Conflict o Verbal & Written Communication o Management of labour relations o Working knowledge of financial statements o Risk identification & Mitigation o Attention to detail o Delivering objectives o Customer centric thinking o Ability to write accurate reports and put together an action plan o Ability to communicate at all levels in the organisation o Fire Arm Competency (Business Use) an advantage
Qualifications
Matric certificate (Grade 12)
- essential.
Valid
driver's licence
and
own reliable vehicle
- essential.
PSIRA Grade A
Valid Firearm Competency - Business Purpose competency will be advantageous.
10 years' experience
in the security industry (at least 5 years in management).
Strong leadership skills and proven ability to manage managers.
Tertiary qualification
in Security Management or related field - advantageous.
