ake direct responsibility for the profitability of the stores in an assigned area, through the achievement of sales targets and the effective management of wages and other controllable expenses against agreed budgets.
L
ead stores to operate efficiently in order to achieve or exceed sales targets.
M
onitor the sales performances of each store in order to identify and take action where required.
R
eport on store performances and other KPI's on a weekly/monthly basis.
C
ustomer Experience:
E
ncourage, motivate, and inspire stores to deliver an exceptional in store experience, which will positively influence sales.
E
nsure store merchandising standards are adhered to and provide regular feedback to stores to enhance store presentation.
D
rive and develop employee's ability to engage with customers to the required standards.
R
isk Management:
S
tay abreast of all Company policies, procedures and practices and monitor the understanding of Store Management.
M
onitor and drive compliance of stores with company and operations policies, procedures and practices.
W
here stores are not compliant, take the necessary steps to correct behaviour and ensure compliance going forward.
P
eople Management:
R
ecruit, on board, develop and retain Managers for the respective area and or broader business, to ensure that stores are effectively managed and staffed.
P
artner with Store Managers to lead store recruitment, on boarding, training and retention.
P
roactively develop high potential and high performing employees into future Store Management positions.
S
tock Management:
E
nsure that stores' stock is accurately received and unpacked to merchandise and replenish the sales floor.
M
onitor and manage stock levels through defined processes, to mitigate the risk of stock loss and ensure adequate stock on hand.
