Job Description
We are a clothing retail company based in Port Shepstone that is seeking an Area Manager to render oversight to a cluster of stores. Our stores are located in and around the South Coast and Eastern Cape Areas.
The incumbent will be responsible to manage and oversee the allocated stores to ensure smooth workflow and profitability.
Duties and Responsibilities
Effective daily reporting and follow-ups on store visits. Take direct responsibility for sales maximisation and profitability of stores by driving daily sales and conducting sales analysis. Ensure that Store Managers understand all the companies' policies, procedures and have a good knowledge of our merchandise. Develop and maintain succession planning by identifying internal potential for further growth. Manage and implement store merchandising floor plans. Maintain a prominent level of customer service standards by creating the ultimate shopping experience. Ensure that the look and feel of the store is maintained. Conduct regular internal store administration audits. Coordinate and conduct stocktakes timeously in line with the company procedures. Promoting the prevention of shrinkage. Implement and oversee security, health and safety procedures. Management and motivation of staff
Requirements
Matric certification Valid Driver's license Computer literate Relevant Degree/Diploma will be advantageous. Minimum 3-5 years experience in a similar or Store Management role Industrial Relations experience Ability to Plan, Lead, Organise and Control Ability to train, mentor and coach retail store managers through skills development. Effective communication skills Accuracy and attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R180000,00 - R240000,00 per year
