Area Manager Crop Protection - LimpopoReference: PTA001085-EV-1An established manufacturer of agrochemicals is seeking the above to develop and implement business development strategies, and to provide technical advice, with the aim to grow the portfolio in the assigned areaDuties & ResponsibilitiesMinimum requirements for the role:Must have a degree in Agriculture or related fieldMust have an AVCASA or BASOS certificate or be willing to obtain it within a yearMinimum 3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in the sales of Agricultural Products/ Remedies/Fertilizers will be requiredMust be a team player, exercise a high degree of self-discipline, confidentiality, and demonstrative initiativeGood communication skills, specifically in English and Afrikaans, with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders of all levels, will be requiredMust have a valid driverxe2x80x99s license and be willing to travelThe successful candidate will be responsible for:Developing and implementing strategies for business growth within the area.Designing and developing innovative products with the product development team.Providing technical advice to agents on the use of products on various crops.Assisting distributors to develop solutions for crops.Assist with logistics and supply chain arrangements for depots regarding stock.Managing forecast within the area for each depot or sales agent.Providing training on products or crops for study groups or distributors.In coordination with logistics department, managing and controlling consignment stock in depots to increase sales.Visiting all agents in the assigned area from time to time, to build and maintain relationships.Conducting demonstration trials and reporting on results.Please note that subsequent to the screening and shortlisting process, all further communication will be entered into, only with the shortlisted candidatesPackage & RemunerationMarket related
