A 60/40 split between Utility, Soft Services (60%) and Hard Services (40%).
Accountable for Soft Services (Security, Hygiene, Cleaning).
Reporting on data insights, trend analyses and solution focused on Utility Billing/Invoices/Statements high level Financial Acumen and Understanding.
Ownership and Management of Operating Systems (Electricity and Water dashboards, Freshdesk).
Auditing Utility invoices for accuracy and findings.
Verifying reconciliations and explaining or resolving variances.
Liaising with Councils, face to face, in writing and/or telephonically regarding queries, and billing discrepancies, following through with Councils for discrepancies on buildings and solutions.
Researching, investigating, consolidating, and resolving outstanding payments or over-payments.
Stakeholder management, relationship building and rapport.
Staff Management end to end performance management, support, and coaching.
Executing overall Group strategy and Property Division plans in relation to duties.
Standard business as usual operations - hard services covering Repairs & Maintenance.
Ownership of KPIs and end to work deliverables.
Required Experience:
Minimum 3 years as a Facilities Manager with a proven track record covering Municipal relationships and Utility Billing and Invoices.
Minimum 2 years experience in understanding Municipal billings, reporting on insights/trends and Council relationships.
Educational Requirements:
Minimum Grade 12/Matric.
Preferred - Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management.
