Job Description
Responsibilities:
Develop architectural concepts, sketches, and detailed plans
Prepare presentations and design documentation using tools like
AutoCAD
,Revit
,SketchUp
, orRhino
Ensure designs comply withlocal building codes
,SANS
, andzoning laws
Meet with clients to determine needs, budgets, and aesthetic preferences Coordinate with engineers, quantity surveyors, and consultants Oversee projects from conception to completion Supervise site construction and ensure work adheres to drawings/specifications Conduct site inspections and issue architectural instructions Prepare council submission drawings and documentation Liaise with local authorities for building plan approvals Ensure adherence tosafety

Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) National Diploma in Architectural Technology
Software Skills
Strong proficiency in:
AutoCAD
Revit
SketchUp
,Lumion
,Adobe Creative Suite

2-10+ years of post-qualification experience depending on the role level Portfolio of built or conceptual work demonstrating design capability
Skills
Excellent communication and teamwork Strong attention to detail Project leadership or coordination ability Problem-solving on construction/site issues
