Position Overview
Seeking a new career challenge? Then Woolpert is seeking you! Woolpert Africa is hiring an Architect to join our dynamic Buildings Team at our Johannesburg, South Africa office. This position reports to the Regional Team Leader and is responsible for leading a team in the development and delivery of all project deliverables. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 6 years' related experience. Priority will be given to candidates who are SACAP registered.
As an Architect at Woolpert, you will:

• Lead a team in the development and delivery of all project deliverables, from concept through completion, and will also see the project through construction and close out.
• Work in tandem with firm leaders and Project Lead as well as an interdisciplinary team of partners to deliver high performing, complex, and challenging projects for some of the world's largest technology clients.

Minimum Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of related experience.
• Experience working on medium-sized projects such as retail, multi-family residential, or commercial developments.
• Master's degree in Architecture.
• Must possess strong design, execution, and problem-solving skills with experience in complex projects.
• Commitment to staying informed on the latest architectural technologies, materials, and sustainability practices.
• Proficiency in the use of Autodesk Revit for project development; BIM proficiency is advantageous.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.) and Bluebeam.
• Strong digital modeling skills with well-developed organizational abilities.
• Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.

Preferred Skills and Abilities

• It is desired that the candidate should be SACAP registered.
