Purpose of the Role
The Architect will contribute to the design, documentation, and delivery of world-class architectural projects across multiple regions. The role requires a creative and technically skilled professional with strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, BIM workflows, and the Adobe suite, and the ability to translate design intent into detailed construction documentation.
Working within a multidisciplinary design team, the Architect will assist in all project stages - from concept development through to on-site coordination - ensuring that every design outcome upholds the company's commitment to innovation, sustainability, and design excellence.
Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification.
  • Master's degree in Architecture (MArch) or Master's in Architectural Technology (MTech).
  • 2 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience within an architectural design environment.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, BIM workflows, and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Site or hospitality design experience is preferable.
  • South African citizen or eligible to work in South Africa.
  • Must possess a valid passport and be willing to travel if required.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design Development
  • Contribute to the creation of innovative and contextually sensitive architectural designs.
  • Support the senior design team in developing conceptual and schematic design solutions.
  • Prepare and refine detailed architectural drawings, 3D models, and presentation materials.
  • Participate in design reviews and ensure outputs align with project objectives and design intent.
2. Documentation & Technical Coordination
  • Produce accurate technical drawings, specifications, and schedules.
  • Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other consultants to ensure design integration.
  • Maintain consistent quality and standards across all project documentation.
  • Assist in ensuring that all designs adhere to applicable codes, standards, and local regulations.
3. Project Support & Delivery
  • Support project managers and associates in managing multiple project deliverables.
  • Participate in on-site inspections and coordination meetings as required.
  • Contribute to resolving design and technical challenges during the construction phase.
  • Assist in preparing documentation for tenders, submissions, and client presentations.
4. Collaboration & Teamwork
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary design team to achieve project goals.
  • Liaise professionally with clients, consultants, and contractors under supervision.
  • Contribute to maintaining and enhancing internal design and documentation standards.
  • Participate in team meetings and design critiques to foster continuous improvement.
