Introduction: Our client has an opportunity in their Cape Town branch for a suitably experienced Instructor. This function is central to the delivery of driver training in all formats to all clients booked at the client inclusive of safety events. The instructor is to offer a combination of classroom-based training by the means of face to face as well as virtual theoretical training and on road practical driver training. These interventions aim to improve driver skills and attitude. Duties & Responsibilities: Key Performance areas:

• Customer services: To ensure all services requested are delivered and 100% customer satisfaction.
• Procedural & Administrative Compliance: To ensure that all administrative policies and procedures are adhered to accurately, on time and every time and to consistently review and implement effective administrative procedures to ensure deadline adherence.
• Uniforms & Grooming: Ensure that your uniform is clean and that you are presentable as per the companiesxe2x80x99 uniform policy.
• Equipment: To ensure that equipment issued is in a good working order at all times. This includes the use of company vehicles and equipment. Ensuring that the PPE equipment is in good condition.
• Code of Conduct: Ensure 100% adherence to the Policies and procedures of the employer..

Core Functions:

• Deliver classroom-based theoretical training by the means of face to face as well as virtual theoretical training and on road practical driver training.
• Capturing of supporting documentation for internal and external use.
• Represent the values of the company in their daily actions.

Duties include:

• Dispense theoretical knowledge of driver training and related items within the industry.
• Presenting to audiences with the ability to impart knowledge across all generational communication styles with patience and the ability to check understanding.
• Be comfortable to engage with large groups with knowledge, conviction & passion for the industry with which we operate in.
• Planning of how you intend to deliver on training booked, route planning personally and for the candidate.
• Conducting an evaluation of anotherxe2x80x99s skills and driving attitude through in-car instructional techniques.
• Assessing and providing complete portfolio of evidence documents as per T.E.T.A requirements.
• Functioning well under pressured conditions.
• Ability & desire to keep up with market trends and developments within the industry and to build on onexe2x80x99s knowledge base through research.

Desired Experience & Qualification:

• Previous experience within the training & motoring industry. Minimum of 3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience, more than 5 would be preferable.
• Qualified Assessor: Qualified with T.E.T.A and S.A.Q.A.
• HGV Driver Experience
• Familiarity with the motor/training/HSE industry beneficial.
• Candidate is required to have their own transport with a valid EC driverxe2x80x99s license with PDP.
• Fluent in English. Proficiency in other languages beneficial
• Suitable for a candidate who resides in Cape Town.
• Intermediate to advanced computer literacy required.
• Candidate to indicate fields of experience.
• Candidate required to have a matric certificate.
• Valid Code EC driverxe2x80x99s license with PDP.
• Valid Passport.
• Ability to travel as and when required.

Required Skills

• Qualified Assessor: Qualified With T.E.T.A And S.A.Q.A: 4 to 5 years.
• Valid Code EC Drivers License With PDP: 4 to 5 years.
• HGV Driver Experience : 5 to 6 years.
