Key Output
Successfully complete all theoretical learning, practical training and skills assessments Apply all skills learnt in the workplace Complete necessary documentation for the required experience building (Logbook, Training records) Maintain a safe working environment (according to safety policy and procedures) Achieve individual balanced scorecard and KPI's Effective self-management and performance ownership Accurate reporting on task completed and related documentation/administration Productivity and cost control Safety, Risk, Contamination and Quality Control + Assist/Support senior machinist with projects Basic machining operations (turning, milling, drilling and tapping) Adhere to General machinery regulations act.
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
Grade 12/ Matric with N3 level mathematics and physical science or FLT(Foundational Learning Certificate) N2 or higher: Maths, Science, mechanical Trade Theory and Technical Drawings NCV4: Maths, Physical Science, Industrial Science, Mechanical Trade Theory, Technical Drawings and /OR Electrical Trade Theory. Valid Driver's Licence - Code B (to be obtained before trade test) Basic analytical ability Basic technical /mechanical reasoning Basic numerical reasoning Spatial visualization * Effective verbal and written communication skills.
