Job Purpose

Bidvest International Logistics is looking to recruit a highly skilled Developer to join their IT team. The successful incumbent will be required to develop, test, document and implement systems using C#, HTML, MVC, Biztalk, Xamarin and Azure.



The successful Developer will also be required to do research and help with the implementation of new and existing technologies and best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

Matric (Grade 12) mandatory Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field required Microsoft certification Demonstratable experience or proficient in C#, ASP.NET, Javascript, SQL Understanding of MVC, Entity Framework, XML, XSD, XSLP Exposure in developing Microsoft's Azure solutions Proficient in using transact SQL and related databases 5+ years of work experience Should have a solid understanding of the .NET framework and object orientated programming. Solid project experience (exposure to full project life-cycle) in at least 2-3 projects of duration at least 3 months

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate/s will be responsible for:


Analysing, designing and developing web, desktop and mobile applications. Analysing, designing and developing integration interfaces. Testing and debugging of all developments Understanding and interpreting complex technical system functionality specifications. Develop technical and user documentatioin and specifications. Delivering the best possible quality of work. Continually upgrade your development skills by putting a lot of time into self training.

The successful candidate/s will be working on all Microsoft technologies which includes:


SQL Server. Visual Studio (C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Javascript, Biztalk, Xamarin) Azure Functions, Logic Apps and other App services.
