Eduvos is seeking to appoint a Application Developer (MS Dynamics 365) within our IT department, on a permanent basis

Purpose of the role
The Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365. This role will work as part of an AGILE team, contribute to DevOps practices, and assist in enhancing enterprise application capabilities for Eduvos. This role will have solid experience in Dynamics 365 development and demonstrate a strong technical skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
Advantageous:
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Developer) are highly desirable.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in application development, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Performance Areas:
Application Development & Maintenance

• Design, develop, test, and implement custom solutions in Dynamics 365, including complex integrations and module enhancements.

• Configure and customize Dynamics 365 applications to meet business requirements.

• Build and maintain plugins, workflows, and integrations with other systems.

AGILE Practices

• Actively participate in AGILE ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).

• Collaborate with team members to refine user stories and clarify requirements.

• Deliver quality code within agreed timelines through iterative development.

DevOps Practices

• Support CI/CD processes and deployments using Azure DevOps.

• Assist in automating deployment steps and monitor application performance.

• Escalate issues promptly to ensure system stability.

Technical Contribution

• Adhere to best practices, contribute to code reviews, and apply feedback to improve standards.

• Stay informed on Dynamics 365 updates and best practices.

• Provide input on technical designs and suggest improvements.

Collaboration & Communication

• Document technical designs, processes, and configurations.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

• Communicate progress and challenges clearly to stakeholders.

Problem Solving & Troubleshooting

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly.

• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

• Support production systems to ensure high availability.

Continuous Improvement

• Recommend tools and processes to improve development efficiency.

• Participate in training and professional development opportunities.

• Contribute to internal frameworks and standards.

Projects & User Support

• Deliver projects on schedule and provide stakeholder feedback.

• Support users by meeting SLA targets and resolving issues efficiently.

• Assist with end-user training and ensure effective knowledge transfer.

Functional and Behavioural Competencies
Technical / Functional Competencies:

• Practical experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and/or F&O.

• Solid proficiency in C#, .NET, and JavaScript for feature development and debugging.

• Initiative and adaptability to changing technologies and requirements

• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and ability to apply principles in daily tasks.

• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for boards, repos, and basic CI/CD pipeline maintenance.

• Ability to write and maintain unit tests and integrate them into pipelines.

• Experience with DevOps practices

• Good coding standards and debugging skills

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and participate in Agile ceremonies.

• Strong organisational and time management skills for sprint delivery.
