Reverside is an established IT services provider focused on delivering high-quality Software Development, IT Resourcing, Digital Transformation, and Systems Support solutions. We are looking for skilled Network / API Specialist professionals to join our growing team and contribute to innovative technology projects across various industries.
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist API, Network, and Host-to-Host (H2H) support
  • Troubleshoot complex network, firewall, encryption, and connectivity issues
  • Support and guide clients on ReceiptIT APIs (installation, upgrades, certificates)
  • Perform 2nd & 3rd line production support including after-hours support
  • Incident, problem, and crisis management (war rooms, escalations)
  • UAT, QA testing, release validation and post-implementation support
  • Work closely with Firewall, Network, SOC, Dev and Mainframe teams
  • Ensure secure integrations (IPSEC, MQ, SFTP, PTP, encryption protocols)
  • Support audits, risk reporting, and regulatory compliance (POPIA)
  • Stakeholder management across business, IT, vendors, and clients
  • Process documentation, reporting, and knowledge sharing
  • Participation in projects, regulatory initiatives, and system enhancements
Technical Skills
  • Strong Network & Connectivity troubleshooting
  • API integration support (Host-to-Host, B2B transport)
  • Deep understanding of network security & cyber security principles
  • IPSEC tunnels
  • MQ
  • SFTP
  • PTP connections
  • SQL
  • Graylog
  • Syslog (firewalls)
  • Network & mainframe logs
  • SQL scripting for diagnostics and data extraction
  • Ability to develop batch / Python scripts for automation and troubleshooting
  • Incident & problem management (2nd / 3rd line)
  • UAT, QA testing and release support
  • Understanding of banking transaction flows
  • Application & system support in a banking environment
Business & Domain Skills
  • Transactional Banking domain knowledge
  • Host-to-Host (H2H) channel expertise
  • Familiarity with payment systems
  • Risk, audit, and compliance awareness
  • Ability to assess client impact and business risk
  • Strong documentation and reporting capability
Qualifications
  • Degree in Cyber Security, IT, Information Systems, or related field
  • Cisco CCT Routing & Switching (minimum)
OR preferably CCNA * SAP integration knowledge - advantageous (not mandatory)
