Job Summary ANIMAL FEED MILL - OPERATIONAL PRODUCTION MANAGER (FREE STATE PROVINCE) COMPANY: Manufacturers of animal feed for both in the ruminant and monogastric industries. JOB SUMMARY: Manage the animal feed milling plant to ensure nutritional requirements for various species are met. Monitor feed quality, make adjustments to processing equipment, as necessary. Understanding the production process of crushing raw materials to achieve the desired particle size is required. Knowledge of the nutrient needs of different animal species and their diets is essential. ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 BSc. Agricultural Science / Engineering Advantage 5+ years' experience in an Operations Production Management role Experience in an Animal Feed Plant / milling Experience recognizing common nutritional disorders Experience calibrating and adjust feed processing equipment Understanding the principles of feed preservation and the nutrient requirements of various animal species Responsible for HSE reporting to you.
