Senior-level full-stack development Angular 14+, Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes expertise

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

• A relevant IT degree or equivalent experience
• At least 8+ years of experience in full-stack development
• Proven track record of working in an expert-level role in software development

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Proficiency in Angular, JavaScript, and Typescript
• Expertise in API Development, including calling and creating REST services and RESTful APIs
• Experience with Azure and/or other cloud services
• Strong knowledge of code versioning tools, particularly Git
• Familiarity with Confluence and Jira for project management and collaboration
• Proficient in working with databases, particularly SQL and PostgreSQL
• Experience in database administration, design, development, stored procedures, and patching
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools
• Proficiency in using Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
• Experience in testing, both manual and automated
• Expert-level knowledge in Java programming
• Strong experience with Angular 14+ for front-end development
• Proficiency in HTML and CSS for front-end development

ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS:

• Test Driven Development
• Experience with J2EE for enterprise-level applications
• Proficiency in using Junit for unit testing
• Knowledge of design patterns for software development
• Experience with Maven as a build automation tool
• Familiarity with ORM tools, with Hibernate being advantageous
• Experience with SonarQube for code quality analysis
• Proficiency in the Spring Framework and Spring Boot for application development
• Experience of GROUP and our Agile Working Model (AWM)
• German language skills

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
• Implement and manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines
• Develop and maintain technical documentation
• Mentor and guide junior developers
• Engage in agile development practices and contribute to team ceremonies
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
• Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter.
