Today, MSF is present in more than 70 countries, where thousands of MSF doctors, nurses, logisticians, water-and-sanitation experts, and other medical and non-medical professionals work together to bring essential health services to people caught in humanitarian crises.Key responsibilities:Provide emergency resuscitation and required urgent medical stabilisation of critical patients.Assess patients fitness to undertake an operation before the surgery takes place.initiate anaesthesia, providing safe pre-operative, during and post-operative care using anaesthetics and pain management.work in a team of other health professionals to ensure patient wellbeing.perform administrative tasks in areas which relate to the care of patients, including summaries of patient treatment and the writing of discharge lettersattend multidisciplinary team meetings both on and off-siteparticipate in an agreed on-call rota and take on an equal share in providing emergency coverRequirements:Medical Doctor with Diploma in Anaesthesia or Anaesthetisiology specialisation.Valid Registration with HPCSAOver 6 months of Anastehtsia experience in a busy hospital.Good communication skills.Team-playerFlexible to work in insecure context.Benefits :Volunteer stipend.All expenses covered.Professional liability coverage, medical insurance and repatriation cover.Humanitarian and international experience.Note: Please ensure that both your CV and Cover letter are in PDF formatClosing Date: 15 August 2021
