Compile, implement and validate test methods to ensure credibility of test results.
Compile and update methods manuals for instrumentation lab.
Observe trends on the control charts, investigate non-compliance to management system and implement corrective actions.
Compile weekly water quality failure reports and forward them to the regions for action.
Investigate root cause(s) of non-conformances registered during internal and external audits and implement corrective actions(s).
Benchmark best practices with other stakeholders in the industry and recommends an appropriate methodology.
Plan for repair and maintenance of instruments including troubleshooting of reported faults.
Compile and submit sectional monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
Supervise all instrumentation laboratories.
Ensure adherence to health, safety and environmental standards in the workplace.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Honours in Chemistry.
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a SANAS accredited laboratory at supervisory level.
Knowledge of ISO 17025.
Valid driver's license.
Computer literacy.
