Responsible for administering Company's remuneration and benefits programs.

Research, Design, recommend, implement and monitor remuneration and reward strategies, policies, procedure, frameworks and encompassing reward programmes, incentive schemes, executive compensation, bonuses and equity plans.

Perform statistical analysis, pay scale design and management, salary benchmarking (internal and external), job evaluation and grading, various stakeholder negotiations and mediation, organisation structuring, HR process optimisation, market research and industry practises.

Strategic understanding of Total Rewards Management, HRM, Business Management, Governance (Policies, Procedures, Practises, statuary and QA compliance, standards), Transformation and Technology and act as an adviser for the Management & Strategic levels in decision making.

Administer employee benefits e.g. Retirement fund, medical scheme, disability management (COID and risk claims), Group personal accident insurance, Funeral benefits etc.

  • The remuneration and benefits analyst is an integral component of Human Resources, the analyst evaluates and analyses job duties and responsibilities and then puts together an equitable and competitive salary.
  • The analyst typically serves as first line of remuneration and benefits administration.
  • Handle superior level of confidentiality concerning business, contracts, transactions, service providers, employee information and data.
  • Evaluate or assess the market data and remuneration trends and make recommendations for new appointment salaries, promotional increases, merit increases, demotion, market adjustments and grade assignments.
  • Participation in remuneration surveys and analyse resulting data to determine the Company's overall competitive position as well as the competitive position for individual jobs.
  • Reports to be prepared and analytical support to be provided for ongoing activities, plans and programs, and special projects and initiatives.
  • Routine checks and audits to be run in order to ensure the accuracy of information housed on the human resources information system.
  • Responsible for staying current and updated on the market development (e.g. Labour, Business, Political etc), remuneration and benefits best practices, relevant legal, legislative, governance compliances and requirements.
  • Administer accurate and timeous settlement of risk claims and insurances.
