To provide independent and objective quality assurance on the balance sheet suspense accounts for the Standard Bank Operations Function to adhere to the balance sheet substantiation requirements and ensure accuracy of balance sheet information. To lead and drive awareness and adoption of balance sheet policies, procedures, minimum standards and best practices within the business.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
BCom Degree or N6 in Finance and Accounting

Experience Required

• 3 - 5 Years in Business Enablement & Support
• 3 years of solid experience with reconciliations, as well as strong analytical skills and the ability to perform quality assurance.
• Operational background preference
• The role requires an individual with a solid understanding of financial management accounting and more specifically reconciliations.
• Financial business partnering experience is required as this role needs to coach and influence business leaders with regards to awareness and adoption of balance sheet policies, procedures, minimum standards and best practices within the business.
