Analyst, Durban

The purpose of the job is to provide analytical support by collecting, integrating, structuring, analysing and interpreting data - and communicating the resulting information to key customers.

Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification (BSc Eng, BEng, BTech, BSc) in Engineering or Mathematics/Statistics
• Minimum of 3 years relevant operational, data analysis or research experience within the industrial/manufacturing/engineering/mining sector
• Proficiency in written communication xe2x80x93 specifically engineering and scientific report writing
• Proficiency in project and quality assurance documentation management and control
• Demonstrate a proven track record of successfully analysing data/information of a similar nature
• Demonstrate a proven track record in process/engineering reviews
• Structured Query Language (SQL)
• Microsoft Excel - Advanced
• Critical Thinking
• Data Visualization and analytics (EDA, descriptive, predictive, diagnostic/causal, prescriptive)
• Presentation and Report Writing skills
• Statistical Methods (probability, inferential, uncertainty)
• Measurement & Verification Methods
• Mathematics - Advanced Calculations

• Conduct analysis
