We're looking for a talented and driven Analyst ESA to join our team at Groupe Ethica, supporting operations across English-Speaking Africa (ESA), including South Africa, Ghana, Nigeria, and Kenya

Based in Cape Town, South Africa, you'll play a key role in empowering sales and business leaders with data-driven decision-making, performance tracking, and automation solutions. If you're detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to innovate, this is your chance to make an impact!

Role Purpose

As Analyst & Power BI Developer, you'll support sales teams and leadership with insights, automated reporting, and performance tools--fuelling commercial excellence through data.

Main Responsibilities:

Sales Support

- Assist with sales target setting & monitoring
- Analyse sales data and support territory improvements

Incentives Tracking

- Help design and track field team incentives
- Ensure data integration for accurate pay-outs

Dashboards & Reporting

- Build Power BI dashboards and reports
- Use Excel & Python for automation and data prep

Data Management

- Maintain sales, stock, and distribution datasets
- Keep sales team structures and hierarchies updated

Stakeholder Support

- Be the analytics contact for ESA labs
- Support sales reps and partners with performance insights

Innovation & Automation

- Identify and automate manual processes
- Promote adoption of new tools and methods

Profile:

Education

- Degree in Math, Statistics, Data Science, Actuarial/Computer/Business Science

Skills

- Advanced Excel (formulas, pivots, lookups)
- Proficient in Power BI (DAX, data modeling), Python (advantage), SQL (plus)
- Clear communication with non-technical teams
- Detail-oriented, proactive, self-managed

Experience

- Demonstrated use of Excel, Power BI, DAX in real projects
