Job Description

We are seeking an elite Amazon FBA professional with a proven track record of scaling and operating large Amazon businesses for established, high-revenue brands. This role requires deep expertise across the full Amazon ecosystem--P&L ownership, advertising efficiency, inventory strategy, catalog optimization, and cross-functional leadership. The ideal candidate has managed seven- to nine-figure annual revenue brands and understands Amazon as a complex, competitive retail channel rather than a side marketplace.
Key Responsibilities
Amazon Business Ownership

  • Own end-to-end Amazon FBA performance, including revenue growth, profitability, TACoS, contribution margin, and operational efficiency.
  • Act as the primary Amazon subject-matter expert for the brand, advising leadership on strategy, risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Manage Amazon as a core business unit with clear KPIs, forecasts, and accountability.
Growth & Performance Strategy
  • Develop and execute scalable growth strategies across search, DSP, promotions, and new product launches.
  • Drive organic ranking improvements through advanced keyword strategy, conversion optimization, and listing experimentation.
  • Identify and execute opportunities across international marketplaces and new Amazon programs.
Advertising & Demand Generation
  • Lead large-scale Amazon Ads programs (SP, SB, SD, DSP) with a strong focus on profitability and incrementality.
  • Structure campaigns to support full-funnel growth while maintaining efficient TACoS and ROAS.
  • Analyze performance data to continuously optimize bids, budgets, creatives, and targeting.
Catalog, CRO & Brand Protection
  • Oversee best-in-class listings, A+ content, Brand Store, and creative testing initiatives.
  • Ensure brand consistency, compliance, and protection against listing hijacks, IP violations, and unauthorized sellers.
  • Manage review strategy, voice-of-customer insights, and conversion rate optimization.
Inventory & Supply Chain Collaboration
  • Partner with supply chain and operations teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and prevent stockouts or overstock.
  • Forecast demand accurately across seasonal peaks and promotional periods.
  • Optimize FBA fees, storage costs, and logistics performance.
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Product, and Operations teams to align Amazon strategy with broader business goals.
  • Present performance reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Mentor junior Amazon team members or agency partners where applicable.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of hands-on Amazon FBA experience, including senior ownership of large brands or portfolios.
  • Demonstrated success managing high-revenue Amazon businesses (multi-million to nine-figure annual revenue).
  • Deep expertise in Amazon Ads, analytics, and profitability management.
  • Strong understanding of Amazon algorithms, ranking mechanics, and retail dynamics.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear business decisions.
  • Experience working with complex catalogs, multiple SKUs, and competitive categories.
Preferred Background
  • Experience working at or with enterprise-level consumer brands, aggregators, or top-tier Amazon agencies.
  • Exposure to international Amazon marketplaces and global expansion strategies.
  • Strong financial acumen, including P&L ownership and forecasting.
