Installation & Technical Duties

Install aluminium

windows, doors, shopfront systems, and frameless glass

in accordance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards Ensure all installations are

plumb, level, secure, weather-tight, and finished to a high standard

Interpret and work from technical drawings and site measurements Identify and resolve on-site installation challenges efficiently Conduct final quality checks before handover to clients
Team Leadership & Supervision

Lead, supervise, and mentor installation teams on-site Allocate tasks and ensure productivity and workmanship standards are maintained Enforce company rules, safety procedures, and site discipline Train junior installers and assistants where required
Communication & Client Interaction

Communicate professionally with clients, site managers, contractors, and suppliers Report daily progress, challenges, and material requirements to management Represent the company positively on-site at all times
Health, Safety & Compliance

Ensure compliance with

Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS)

requirements Conduct toolbox talks and ensure correct use of PPE Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
Administration & Reporting

Complete job cards, installation checklists, and site reports accurately Report damages, shortages, or installation issues promptly Ensure tools, equipment, and vehicles are used responsibly
Minimum Requirements

Minimum 10 years proven experience

in aluminium and glass installation Extensive experience installing: Aluminium windows and doors Shopfront systems Frameless glass (showers, balustrades, partitions, etc.) Proven

team leadership or supervisory experience

Strong communication and people management skills Ability to work independently and make sound on-site decisions Ability to read technical drawings and site plans Valid driver's licence (Code 08 / B or higher preferred) Physically fit and able to work on construction sites

Pay: From R70,00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
