As an Air Logistics Customer Care Specialist in our Johannesburg office, you will be at the heart of our customer experience--ensuring smooth, timely, and transparent air freight operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and is passionate about customer satisfaction.
How you create impact
Serve as the primary point of contact for air logistics customers, managing inquiries, bookings, and shipment updates with professionalism and empathy
Proactively monitor shipments and resolve exceptions, delays, or disruptions before they impact the customer
Collaborate with internal teams and global partners to ensure seamless end-to-end service delivery
Maintain accurate documentation and data entry in our systems to support operational excellence
Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and contribute to continuous process enhancements
Uphold commitment to quality, compliance, and customer-centric service
What we would like you to bring
Proven experience in air freight, logistics, or customer service roles
Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
Familiarity with transport management systems and CRM platforms
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure
Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
