Job Description
AIDE: INSTRUMENT MECHANICIAN X1 (GRADING B2)
Qualifying Criteria :
Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 (with Mathematics & Science).
N2 Certificate in Instrumentation or relevant trade theory subjects.
Must have an Aide Certificate
Basic understanding of instrumentation principles and plant processes.
Previous exposure/experience in a plant or industrial environment will be advantageous. Physically fit, safety-conscious, and willing to work shifts/overtime when required. Good communication and teamwork skills. South African Citizenship Clear Criminal RecordResponsibilities :
Assist with inspections, fault finding, and repairs on instrumentation and control systems. Support with the installation and calibration of sensors, transmitters, gauges, and related equipment. Perform routine maintenance tasks under supervision. Ensure tools, spares, and equipment are prepared and available for daily activities. Comply with safety procedures and regulations at all times. Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe. Provide support to senior staff as required in daily operations. Conduct all work according to required standards and specifications * Adhere to MHSA standards & Gold1 Group's safety motto:
