In this role you will be responsible to provide support and solutions to farmers in their area or district to ensure long term milk supply to Nestlxc3xa9 at a competitive price, required quantities and quality taking into considering the environment impact in compliance with all feed and food standards as well as Climate and Regen Agric Roadmaps.

A day in the life of an Agriculturist:

• Manage annual budget of milk quantities and requirements for district and area.
• Ensure milk composition/solids and loss/gain from farmers are per norm and Nestlxc3xa9 requirements.
• Ensure milk quality control as per norm and Nestlxc3xa9 manufacturing standards that ensure first time quality.
• Manage Chilling stations, control costs of the milk depots, milk districts and transport density.
• Develop milk district, emerging farmers and build relationships to ensure stable and long-term supply of milk to Nestlxc3xa9.
• Contribute to SHE: zero lost time injuries through BBSHE and safety talks with Tanker drivers.
• Driving climate interventions on farms aligned with the Climate and Regenerative Agric Roadmaps.

What will make you successful?

• Degree / Diploma in Agriculture.
• 2 - 5 Years experience in the Dairy Industry.
• Knowledge of milk procurement and costing.
• Milk quality and composition.
• People management skills.
• Technical knowledge of milk production at farm level.
• Organizing and coordination skills.
• Carbon emission reduction & Manage Dairy Study groups.
