Location: Hybrid - Midrand/Menlyn/Rosslyn/Home Office rotation
Team: SCO - OSC (Overseas Supply Centres)

Qualifications & Experience Requirements

• Education: Relevant IT Degree/Diploma/Certification
• Experience: Minimum 5+ years in IT/Software DevOps industry
• Agile Expertise: Proven track record in agile software development from requirements to deployment
• Team Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams

Core Leadership & Methodology Expertise (Mandatory)

• Agile Team Management: Proven ability to manage technical teams using agile methodologies
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Time Management: Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Risk Management: Ability to identify, assess and mitigate project risks
• Agile Tools: Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence platforms
• Process Optimization: Experience in improving team efficiencies through agile practices
• Agile Responsibilities: Additional duties as per Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter

Advantageous Skills Technical & Business Acumen

• Microsoft Office: Excellent usage of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Business Analysis: Ability to understand and interpret business needs with implementation aptitude
• Database Skills: Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, PLSQL
• Software Development: Knowledge of Java Frameworks and other development languages
• DevOps Knowledge: Understanding of CI/CD, tools (Bitbucket, Jenkins) and SDLC
• Finance Domain: Previous exposure to finance functions or supporting finance teams

• Stakeholder Management: Experience communicating with Product Owners and Stakeholders
• Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and team coaching abilities
• Conflict Resolution: Strong conflict resolution and facilitation skills
• Communication: Effective verbal and written communication with technical and non-technical audiences
• Agile Testing: Experience in agile testing methodologies
• Product Development: Understanding of product and application development concepts

Advanced Agile Expertise

• Agile Tools Mastery: Excellent proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, X-Ray
• Scrum Patterns: Knowledge of techniques for filling intentional gaps in Scrum approach
• DevOps Integration: Understanding of DevOps topics and cloud development environments
• IT Operations: Comprehensive IT operations knowledge
• Incident Management: Experience with ITSM Suite/BMC Remedy

Key Responsibilities Agile Coaching & Transformation

• Methodology Guidance: Guide team and organization on agile methodologies and practices
• Maturity Assessment: Assess agile maturity and coach teams to higher levels at sustainable pace
• Process Improvement: Provide insights into agile KPI evolution to improve team efficiencies
• Workshop Facilitation: Structure and facilitate workshops, meetings, and agile ceremonies
• Decision Facilitation: Lead discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution processes

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

• Cross-functional Alignment: Involve all stakeholders (Business/Developers/QA) in solution design
• Product Owner Support: Support Product Owner with grooming processes and backlog management
• Multi-site Collaboration: Work with colleagues across multiple sites and locations
• Transparency Enhancement: Improve internal and external communication and transparency
• Performance Demonstration: Showcase team status and performance as key deliverable

Project & Team Coordination

• Epic Delivery: Lead explorations to deliver Epics and User Stories from Saga (story mapping)
• Project Sustainability: Ensure project sustainability through appropriate actions
• Team Coordination: Assist with project and team coordination tasks when required
• Requirements Analysis: Ensure all processes are considered in obtaining user requirements (DoR)
• Collaboration Optimization: Align within bigger teams for good collaboration and value-adding outcomes

Quality & Testing Support

• Test Reporting: Prepare and communicate test reports during SIT and UAT execution
• Results Distribution: Distribute testing results to relevant stakeholders
• Quality Assurance: Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout delivery cycles
• Process Compliance: Verify adherence to established agile and quality processes
