Job Description


PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Aftersales Marketing Manager is challenged with creating new marketing initiatives and administering legacy programs that are intended to ensure the companyxe2x80x99s Aftersales growth and profitability in the areas of Parts and Accessories. The role is responsible for development of a marketing strategy, go to market, launch, awareness, events, campaigns, and marketing activities. The Aftersales Marketing Manager position within the Aftersales Department is one that relies on teamwork, while also encouraging innovation and creativity on an individual level with a view to achieving our collective corporate objectives.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Business/Marketing or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2-3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in Spare Parts and/or Automotive Aftersales Marketing at an OEM level.
  • In depth knowledge and experience in areas such as: parts marketing, product planning, OEM aftersales marketing (service and parts).
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Strong understanding of business management and leadership principles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work in an international and multi-cultural environment.
  • Capacity to innovate, think out of the box and stimulate creativity.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills to understand and address issues across multiple disciplines.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and manage deadlines.
  • Strong business acumen and proven leadership abilities engaging with individuals at all levels and across various regions of the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES

OEM Business:
  • Delegating responsibilities and supervising business operations with regards to accessories and pricing.
  • Develop new and oversee established recurring programs as assigned in the two main revenue categories (Parts & Accessories).
  • Set strategic benchmarks and long-range plans for measuring performance and progress toward short and long-term objectives for all initiatives.
  • Oversee the research, development, implementation, and improvement of new and ongoing business development areas.
  • Manage and support creation of information for use by Parts & Service to ensure process and strategic use of information is available for successful launch and support, including web support.
  • Manage and direct analysis of industry market trends, customer survey information, and OEM competitive analysis.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting and/or analysis for all assigned projects, or as otherwise assigned.
  • Develop business plans that include all needed information on pricing, tooling, projected sales, and inventory constraints to allow management to make informed decisions.
  • Create and/or deliver presentation material to support marketing initiatives as required.
Marketing:
  • Develop and implement promotions and programs in areas of Parts & Accessories that deliver additional revenue and gross profit.
  • Design and implement marketing plan for OEM Aftersales
  • Coordinate with central team to standardise marketing activities for OEM Aftersales
  • Develop tools to measure marketing activities ROI.
  • Develop annual marketing budget for OEM Aftersales with a proper P&L tracking.
  • Develop weekly/monthly content plans in-line with the companyxe2x80x99s Service and Parts brands marketing strategy and marketsxe2x80x99
  • Knowledge transfer and support to dealers and coordinate all Service & Parts marketing and communication
  • Implement the marketing communication plans and activities for Service and Parts
  • Development of marketing tools and material to support service and parts sales for OEM together with the advertising
  • Development of new sales channels and tools to e-commerce and digital marketing for service and parts sales for OEM together with the advertisement agency and internal departments
  • Relationship Management with dealer service & parts marketing team and Off-line & On-line agency partners Manage communication and understanding of needs and information flow between vendors and Aftersales for all development, issues, and approvals.
  • Management, development & enhancement of the service and parts websites
  • Support all Aftersales Marketing initiatives regarding customer retention related initiatives.
Business Support:
  • Active role in service and parts in the organization with target to maximize Service & Parts OEM business revenue opportunities and financial
  • Maintain and track marketing budgets for OEM business.
  • Ensuring supply and availability of marketing material for dealers.
  • Managing and Monitoring PR / PO requests of marketing spending of aftersales team
  • Providing and sharing KPI of performance following guidelines of the company
Market Research:
  • Collect, compile, and analyse marketing and communication activities of main
  • Create weekly / monthly reports detailing competitor activities and advertisements in the region and best practices from
New Model Launch:
  • Working closely with internal-department (sales, product, marketing and aftersales) and Coordinating on New Model Launch marketing activity for aftersales
  • Support each vehicle launch team lead by project managing the Aftersales launch process.
  • Work with the launch team lead to co-ordinate the activities of Service & Parts marketing and PR
  • Development of marketing tools & material with specified time period; communication and co-ordination with internal departments with regards to launch activities
Other:
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Assist and manage ad hoc projects as required.
