With the practice facilities and equipment fully at your disposal, you'll have the freedom to grow your own client base while benefiting from the clinic's established presence. A monthly rental (sliding scale or percentage of turnover - as agreed) ensures flexibility as your business develops. Your only direct expense will be advertising (internet and billboard).
On-site accommodation can be made available if required (time will be needed for readiness).

Description

• Emergency care
• Ensure all team members provide quality and ethical care to all clients and their pets.
• Assess, examine, and diagnose patients' medical issues.
• Perform surgery, dress, and treat wounds.
• Perform diagnostic laboratory, imaging and ultrasound testing where required.
• Prescribe medication.
• Promote preventative care by advocating and administering routine vaccinations and immunisations.
• Educate clients on positive lifestyle choices for pets.
• Euthanise patients if and when needed.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statutes, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain patients' medical records.

• BVSc Degree
• SAVC Registration
• Updated CPD Points
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Dedication to continuing education and professional growth.
• A love for animals and a commitment to their well-being.
• Preferably 5+ years' experience working with small animals
• Registered with SAVC and CPD requirements up to date
• Affiliation with VDA or Vetprotect
