Job Description
AFTERCARE TEACHER AT PRESTEGIOUS EDUCARE REQUIRED
Based in the Kuilsriver /Soneike area.
The ideal candidate will be:
Well-presented and have a positive attitude
Have a passion for working with children
Patient, with a kind yet firm personalityBe proficient in English and Afrikaans
Have good organisational and planning skillsCan work independently
CreativePrevious experience working with children from Grades 1-4 (teaching or aftercare)
A clear criminal record with police clearanceRelevant tertiary qualification (preferably BEd Foundation Phase)
Have own/reliable transportReferences from previous employer
Working hours are 12:00 till 18:00 during school terms and 08:00 - 18:00 during school holidays
Able to assist with homework for grades 1-4
Initiate and plan fun activities for the childrenPlan and implement a holiday programme during school holidays
