This leading English-medium South African public boys school has a vacancy for a fulltime
AFRIKAANS FIRST ADDITIONAL LANGUAGE
teacher.This is a SGB position with effect from 1 January 2026.
Minimum Requirements
Appropriate teaching qualifications are essential. Candidates must have a minimum qualification of either a four-year BEd degree or a suitable degree with Afrikaans and a PGCE. Thorough knowledge of CAPS. A minimum of
three years teaching
Afrikaans First Additional Language experience. Experience in teaching Grade 12 Afrikaans Frist Additional Language will be considered an advantage. SACE Registration is essential.Duties and Responsibilities
Teaching, assessment, planning and preparation for all classes (Grade 8 - 12). Tutor/Register teacher responsibilities. Must be involved in the extramural programme. * Will be responsible to fulfil all other reasonable duties required of a teacher.
