Job Summary ? African Travel Consultant | Luxury Travel & Destination Marketing ? Location: Ideally Franschhoek, Western Cape (Remote work possible) ? Package: Competitive, dependent on experience Kendrick Recruitment is searching for experienced African Travel Consultants to join a leading luxury travel and destination marketing brand. If you have a passion for Africa, 5+ years' experience selling luxury travel, and a flair for detail ; this could be the perfect opportunity to craft once-in-a-lifetime itineraries for discerning travellers. Key Responsibilities: Design and manage tailor-made itineraries across Africa ; including flights, transfers, lodges, and activities Provide personalised; attentive service to clients from initial enquiry to post-travel feedback Liaise with a wide network of luxury lodges, hotels, and tour operators to ensure seamless guest experiences Stay informed on African travel trends, destinations, and experiences to provide expert advice Contribute to the development of creative travel packages that align with brand vision Collaborate with internal teams to ensure operational efficiency and high client satisfaction Maintain accurate booking documentation, reporting, and financial administration for all trips Requirements & Qualifications: Minimum 5 years' experience selling Africa in a luxury travel environment Proven ability to manage full travel bookings (flights, accommodations, transfers, and experiences) Deep knowledge of African destinations, cultures, and tourism offerings Exceptional attention to detail and ability to anticipate client needs Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach Proficiency in Tourplan; Wetu, or similar reservation systems advantageous Flexibility to work with clients across time zones and respond to urgent travel requirements Personal Attributes: Passionate about luxury travel and guest experiences Creative and solutions-oriented with a proactive mindset Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently Committed to delivering exceptional service and memorable travel experiences
