Summary of Key Requirements:

Minimum of 8 years' experience as a Senior Travel Consultant or Africa Specialist, ideally within a luxury tour operator or DMC
/p

p
Proven sales track record with the ability to meet and exceed sales and conversion targets
/p
/li
li
p
Deep destination knowledge of Southern and East Africa, with strong existing networks in the industry
/p
/li
li
p
Proficiency in travel reservations systems (ResRequest, Tourplan, Safari Portal, and CRM systems)
/p
/li
li
p
Excellent communication skills with the ability to design, quote, and confirm high-end tailor-made itineraries
/p
/li
li
p
Confident in handling high-value clients, resolving issues promptly, and providing an exceptional guest experience
/p

p
Degree or diploma in Tourism or Hospitality (advantageous)

/li
li
p
Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to upsell and cross-sell luxury properties and experiences

Must be detail-oriented, professional, and able to manage complex bookings accurately from enquiry through to departure
