AESTHETIC & LASER THERAPIST

Meadowridge (Tokai area) - Southern Suburbs CPT (South Africa)

Starting Date: A.S.A.P / 01 October 2023

Report to: Salon Owner

HOURS & SHIFTS:

• Monday - Friday (08:00 am - 17:30 pm)
• Saturday 08:00 am -15:30 pm
• CLOSED Sundays & Major Public Holidays
• 45 hours per week (5x shifts per week)
• 1x Saturday off per month

PACKAGE POTENTIAL:

• Above market Basic Salary based on experience & skills
• 10% Service Commission from R1+
• 10% Retail Commission from R1+
• Monthly incentives

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: * CIDESCO / ITEC / SAAHSP / CIBTAC / City & Guilds / N-Dip Somatology (minimum 2-year qualification)

• Laser HR / SR Certification / training
• BONUS: Dermal Aesthetics qualifications
• Aesthetic Salon experience preferred but not essential
• At least 1-year in professional working environment (not student hours)
• ONE year laser hair removal experience
• Skilled & Confident (with relevant qualification) to perform:

• Skin Care & Advanced Facials (Peels, Knowledge of Skin, Product Knowledge)
• Waxing (Face, body & intimate areas)
• Manicures & Pedicures (including Gel polish)
• Massage
• Tinting & Shaping
• Laser Hair Removal
• Skin Pen / Micro needling
• Microdermabrasion
• Advanced Chemical Peels
• RF treatments (face & body)

BONUS Skills: * Dermaplaning

• LED Facials
• Threading
• Lash Extensions
• Lash Lifting

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Administer the highest quality beauty, skincare, aesthetic & IPL treatments in a professional atmosphere.

• Work effectively towards achieving the clinic's set financial targets.
• Effectively promote and sell skin care products in conjunction with treatments to meet the clinicxe2x80x99s retail targets.
• Ensuring the highest standard of customer care, satisfaction and service at all time.
• Demonstrate an exceptional level of professionalism and positivity for the staff to emulate.
• Promote the clinic and its activities and actively contribute to its marketing activities.
• Effectively provide general information and advice to clients interested in having treatments and explain the benefits of treatments, to actively acquire new clients.
• Perform in-depth client evaluations / initial consultations and obtain consent prior to treatments.
• Advise clients on all aspects of the procedure they're booked in to receive, providing both pre and post-treatment care and answering any questions or concerns.
• Develop and implement effective individual treatment plans for clients with on-going follow-up.
• Monitor and ensure strict adherence to treatment policies, procedures and documentation, including safety policies.
• Exhibit a diplomatic, professional attitude to effectively handle difficult situations and resolve any customer complaints
• Be responsible for payments for treatments/products, cash management.
• Uphold professional and gracious front desk procedures in the booking and handling of customers.
• Efficient scheduling/confirming of appointments.
• Maintain various internal office administrative support procedures.
• Ensure that the reception and treatment rooms are all immaculate, organized and tidy and that all equipment is properly sanitized, cleaned and maintained.
• Supervise, mentor, train and motivate junior staff and work effectively within a team.
