Job Summary

Our client has an opportunity available for an AE General Manager.

Requirements:

• 5 to 10 years retail sales and sales management experience.
• Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies.
• MS Office at an advanced level.
• Possession of a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's licence.
• Strong understanding of consumer buying behaviour in consumer electronics.
• Ability to share knowledge and gain support through the motivation of sales team.
• Degree or Diploma in sales & marketing or business studies.
• 20+ years' experience in local sales and export management.
• Proven sales success track record.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with setting up annual sales targets for each sales group and coastal distributors.
• Report and communicate on sales performance vs set target.
• Keep abreast of market developments, competitors' product pricing and activities.
• Continuously strive to minimize forecasting error rates on forecasting methods used.
• Conduct effective and accurate market research and apply this information to increase sales.
• Support sales teams with marketing activities such as product launches, promotions, advertising adventures and exhibitions.
• Monitor sales performance to improve on current performance where necessary.
• Update management on business processes, operating plans, financial models, and profitability.
• Develop and implement strategic and business plans for the sales market.
• Expand on current channel to market and identify new target contactors and consultants.
• Prepare sales strategy to achieve sales growth in both local and export sales to allocated countries.
