Job Purpose
To raise funds from government sources, including state-owned entities.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience
BTech or Bachelor's Degree in fundraising, marketing, communication, public relations management, business administration or relevant qualification.
At least 4 years of experience in fundraising, especially from government sources.
Driver's license
Willingness and ability to make national and international travel.

Fundraising, including proposal writing and funding negotiation
Customer relations management
Project conceptualisation and management
Project budgeting and reporting
Funding opportunity search and report writing and presentation

Good funding proposal writing skills

Thorough knowledge of the international funding community
Thorough knowledge of the development co-ordination in a university environment
